  9. Click Save

Step 2: Clean up driver information from the Registry

  1. Select Start
  2. Browse to Run

  5. Click on the PLUS (+) sign and go to the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers
  6. Click the PLUS (+) again to expand the Printers key. You will get a list of l printers installed on your computer.
  7. Right-click on the required sub key on the left pane
  8. Click Delete
  9. Browse HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers\Version-3
  10. Click the PLUS (+) to expand Version 3. You will get a list of l printers installed on your computer.
  11. Right-click on the required sub key on the left pane
  12. Click Delete. Make sure you choose the entry and save it as a backup first.
  13. Close Registry Editor
  14. Restart your system
