Step 1- Delete job files and restart the system
1. Switch off the printer and disconnect the power cord
2. Save your work you have done on the computer.
3. Open the windows services by using one of the following methods
- Search the windows for services and click on the ‘services’ tab after the search is complete
- Press the windows key on your keyboard.
4. Scroll down the list of all services and hit the Print Spooler tab
5. Right-click on the Print Spooler tab and select Stop
6. After the service has been stopped, close the windows and browse c:/windows/system32/Spool/PRINTERS
7. Delete all the files inside the Printers folder
8. Shut down your computer system completely
9. Make sure that your computer and printer is shut down completely for at least one minute before you plug in the power cord and switch on the computer and the printer
10. Wait for the windows to open completely

Step 2- Reinstall the print driver
If the print job continues to get stuck, it is better to reinstall the print driver
1. If the printer is connected to the computer by the USB cable, remove the USB cable to disconnect the printer
2. Search on Windows for the Devices and Printers Tab.

4. Right click on the Remove Device option

1. Download the HP scan and Print doctor online using your internet browser
2. Read and respond to the screen on the Scan and print doctor tool
