Method 1- Reset the printer

  • Wait until the cartridges move to the left and the carriage is silent and idle
  • Lift the latch handle on the carriage and grasp the sides of the print head
  • Lift the print heads and pull it towards yourself
  • Do not remove the cartridges with the print head.
  • Dispose the print head by putting it in a white plastic bag and visit the company website to learn how to recycle it.

II. Inserting the new print head

  • Remove the new print head from the plastic packaging
  • Grasp the print head on both the sides with the electrical contacts pointing towards the rear side of the printer
  • Insert the print head on the carriage
  • Carefully lower the latch handle of the carriage
  • Power on the printer, and close the cover of the printer
  • Run a test print page test if the print is working well.
