Troubleshooting Steps HP Printer Error Memory Full
• Switch off the printer for sometime and then switch it on. The memory of the printer might get cleared. Try to print again a document to see if the error message is appearing again.
• If the problem persists, try sending smaller print jobs to the machine instead of large chunks, to see if the error message is still being shown. At times a complex file can cause such a problem, mainly if a document contains too many graphics or the print is downloading fonts or macros. There is always a possibility that a printer might retain the downloaded fonts or macros and thereby filling up the printer’s memory.
• Another way of troubleshooting the issue is resetting the power of printer. To do a power reset, the user has to disconnect the printer from the power cable that is at the back of the machine, while the printer is still on. Next the cord has to be unplugged from the power source. At least for 10 seconds do not reconnect the power cord. After the wait first plug the cord back into the power outlet and then the printer and switch the power on. Go to the archive option of the printer and see if it is still storing data. If it does then the user can try some the next step.
