Reinstall the printer driver

First remove the printer from the devices list.
Then uninstall the printer from the device and once it is uninstalled, you should wait for a while and then reinstall it.
Nou can try to print and if the printer still does not print in color then go to the next step.

Use genuine HP ink cartridges or toner that is reliable. In case, you are using non-reliable ink cartridges then you may face color print issues. To check the authenticity of your cartridges, you can go to HP “anti-counterfeit” webpage.
Check and analyse for ink smears

For smear related issues, you can use an automated tool to resolve the problem.
First, ensure that the input tray is loaded with plain white paper.
Go to the “control panel” of the printer, then swipe the display to the left and click on “setup” then hit the “Touch tools” option.
Now from listed options, you need to press the “clean page smears” tab.
Once done, wait for the printer to eject the black page.

Select appropriate paper for the print job.

Check and manage print settings.

Check the Ink levels.

Once you get the print quality reports then you can keep it for future reference.
Once done, now you can try to print and if you still face the issue then proceed with the next step.

Examine the color blocks for defects.

You can check and examine the print quality diagnostic report by analyzing it. If color blocks are showing while lines or not showing white lines.
In case, you do not find white lines that are not faded ten moves to the next step.
If you find white lines that are faded then you need to fix it by following the next step.
