What does computer freezes mean?

“Computer freezes” basically termed as computer locks-up. Fix2- Manage and analyze the “power plan settings” for the hard disk

  1. Fix on your keyboard, press the windows logo key and R at the same time, then type powercfg.cpl into the box ad press enter.
  2. In your preferred power plan, click plan settings
  3. Click change advanced power settings
  4. Double click on Hard disk> Turn off hard disk after. Then set the value of setting to never and click OK
  5. Check to see if the computer freezing problem has been resolved.

Fix3- Delete the temp files

  1. On your keyboard, press the windows logo key an R at the same time. Then type temp and press enter
  2. Press Ctrl and A at the same time and click Del to delete all the temporary files

  1. On your keyboard, press the windows logo key, type restore and click create a restore point.
  2. Under the system protection tab, click system restore
  3. Select between recommended restore and choose a different restore point depending on whether the date in recommended restore point would make your computer run smoothly without any lagging or freezing.
  4. Follow the on-screen instruction to run the system restore
  5. Once your computer restarts, check if your computer freezing problem has been solved.
