Introduction

Samsung printers play a very important role in managing commercial and domestic sector related works very significantly. The Samsung printer needs printer drivers for smooth functioning, so you need to download “Samsung printer driver installer” from the official website.

Steps to setup USB drivers and wireless network

From the Samsung official website, select the “software and driver download” option and type your printers’ model number. Once you download the latest drivers, the installer opens and then selects the operating system type. i.e. for Mac OS X, etc. Once done you need to follow the steps given below.

Installation of USB connection

First go to the “Samsung printer installer” folder > then from listed options, you need to hit twice on the Samsung printer.pkg file.
Once the Mac OS X installer opens > press “continue”.
Hit “Agree” and “Continue” after reading the software licence agreement.
Once done with the above step, then you are supposed to click and select the “how to install the software” option> After that hit the “continue” tab for proceeding further.
Hit the “install” option.
Once done, now you need to click and choose the “USB connected printer” option.
And then hit the “Next” button to continue.
Now enable the “printer” and ensure that it is connected properly to the computer via USB cable, then press “Next” option.
Then select all the programs and drivers and hit the “continue” option.
Then you receive a prompt that asks for “User password”. Click “Continue” and enter the password (use your system password).
Once installation is finished, press “close”.
Now the printer get displays in the “Devices and printers” list

Steps to install network connection

First you need to download the “printer installer package” and then go to the “Samsung installer folder” and hit twice on the Samsung printer.pkg file
Once the Mac OS X installer get opens > click “Continue” to proceed
Now you will get a pop-up of Users “agreement and licences”> click “Agree” and “continue”.
Then select “how to install the software” option and hit the “install” option to proceed.
Once done, you need to select “Network connected printer”, both wired and wireless. Then press continue to proceed and click Yes to configure the printer’s network > press “Next” option.
Once done, properly ensure and check that the printer is connected with a router via Ethernet cable or not, then hit the “Next” option
Your Samsung printer will auto configure all the files > press Finish option
Now your printer drivers are displayed in the Devices and printers list.

Steps to install wireless network connection

To install a wireless printer via USB connection then follow given below steps and ensure that your printer is connected properly with the USB cable.
After the successful download of the “Printer installer package” > go to the “Samsung printer installer” folder and then press twice on the Samsung printer.pkg file. Once the Mac OS X installer gets open > then you need to click the “Continue” option.
Then click on the Continue button after agreeing software licences and agreements.
Now press the “Install” option to download. Once done, select configuration of wireless network then click next to proceed further.
Ensure that your printer is ON and then press the “Next” option. Driver installer will automatically fetch the wireless data.
Now click to select a USB cable and press “Next” to proceed.
Once done, ensure that your printer is properly connected to the computer via USB cable.
Now you need to select the right network and press “Next” to precede the installation further.
Now you receive a prompt asking for a wireless network password > enter your password manually and click next to proceed. In case you forget your password then go to the Internet service provider for password details.
In case you are connected to the network via wizard and you face connectivity problems then ensure that the system is linked to the same network to which the printer is trying to connect.
Proper configure the Wi-Fi direct feature by enabling and disabling the feature as per need > then hit “Next” option.
Select all the software drivers that are required to install and then press “Next” to proceed.
Now you receive a prompt asking for the user password. Input the valid credentials and click “OK” to proceed. Once your printer drivers are downloaded successfully then it will auto configure the software
After that press the “Close” button to end up the “Samsung installer programme”.
