First you need to place your original document or photo on the bottom, right corner of the scanner glass.
Then hit the “home” option> now click on the “down arrow” to select the Setup option.

Click on the down arrow to select Paper Setup option> then hit the OK button to proceed further.
Now click on the right arrow to select Paper Size, and do one of the following:
- For copying letter size paper. Then you need to select Letter option and click OK.
- For copying a photo, select a size from the available paper sizes and press the OK button. Note: Refer the table for analyzing the compatible paper for your printer.
Then click the down arrow to select Paper Type, and do one of the following:
- For copying letter size paper, choose Plain Paper, and press the OK button.
- For copying a photo, choose a size from the available paper types listed above, and hit the OK button.
Click on the home button and then hit the up arrow to select Copy. Once done, you need to click “OK” to proceed.
Now click on the OK option to adjust the Copy settings.
After that from the Settings tab, make sure the following is selected:
- If you’re copying letter size paper then make sure that:
  - Layout is set to With Border.
  - Document Size is set to Letter.
- If you’re copying a photo then ensure the given below points:
  - Layout is set to Borderless or With Border.
  - Note: In the given table, the size of the document is set according to the size of a paper.
Once done with the above steps now you need to click on the “back” button.
After that hit one of the “Start” buttons to make a copy in Black and White or Color.
