Causes of Epson 2650 won’t copy

  1. The issue is not related to network or USB connection issues.When the printer is on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  2. Also disconnect the power cord from the power source, then wait for 30 seconds and again reconnect the power cord to the printer and try to copy.

What to do if Epson printer doesn’t copy

  1. Place your document or photo on the bottom –right corner of the scanner glass.
  2. Press the home button then, press the down arrow to select setup and press the ok button.
  3. Press the down arrow that will select paper setup, and then press the ok button.
  4. Press the right arrow to select paper size, choose the following:
  5. If paper is of letter size then select letter and press OK button.
  6. If photo has to be copied then select the size which are available and press OK button.
  7. You need to use the down arrow button for choosing the “paper type”, and then do one of the following:
  8. If paper is of letter size then select letter and press OK button.
  9. If you have to copy photo then you have to select size which are available and then press OK button.
  10. Press the down arrow to select paper type, and do one of the following:
  11. If letter is of paper size then select plain paper and press OK button.
  12. Select the size from the available paper types listed above, if you’re copying a photo, and then press the ok button.
  13. Press the home button, select copy by pressing the up arrow, and then press the ok button.
  14. Press ok to adjust the copy settings.
  15. Under settings, make the proper changes:
  16. If you’re copying letter size paper, layout should be set to with border and document size to letter.
  17. If photo is copied then layout should be set to borderless and size of the document should set the size of paper.
  18. Press the back button

Press one of the start buttons to make your copy in black and white or color.

If printer is not copying then you can try the solutions listed for the following conditions.

  • All lights are off- Press the power button and make sure the Stylus scan is on and Stylus scan should be off. After turning off stylus scan make sure power cord is plugged securely.
  • Lights were on and then switched off-The voltage rating of outlet should not match the voltage which is required by stylus scan, then turn off the Stylus scan and unplug it. And to fix the voltage check the label on the stylus scan.
  • Disconnect interface cable by turning off computer and the stylus scan.
  • Only the operate lights is on- Turn off the stylus scan and the computer. Interface cable should be plugged securely at both ends and there must be no packing material inside the stylus scan.
  • Then print an operation check page. If the check page prints, then check whether stylus scan software and application software are correctly installed or not.
  • Clear any stylus print jobs from the spool manager.
  • If stylus scan is trying to print but it is not able to then go to head cleaning utility option.
  • In case the listed above solutions does not work then you should change the ink cartridges.

How to copy document using control panel?

You can copy color documents onto various sizes and types of paper, including Epson special papers.

  1. Firstly you have to keep original photo.
  2. Then load the paper that you want to print.
  3. Press the home button.
  4. Press the left or right arrow button, select copy, and press the OK button.
  5. If you want to print many copies then press (+) or (–) button.
  6. Press the left or right arrow button to select one of the following:

  8. Press B and W : for black and white copies
  9. To view print setting of copies press down arrow button and press OK button.
