Canon PIXMA MG3620 Wireless Setup | Mac & Windows

Prior to installing drivers & other printer softwares, the printer must be connected to the wireless LAN.

Printer Status:

• Switch on the printer and wait in case printer is performing cleaning, head alignment etc till it finishes.
• Check the wifi lamp on the printer and if it is flashing press the stop button.
• Now press and hold the wifi button until the ON lamp starts flashing.
• Now press the colour button then the wifi button. The “wifi” lamp should flash quickly and the “On” lamp should be lit.
• The printer is now ready for a wireless connection with your computer and router. It will stay that way for about an hour.

Now to use the printer with a computer we need to connect it with LAN and install the required drivers on the computer.

• Go to the MAC OS Setup Page, follow the warnings and instructions and accordingly click Open or Always allow.
• Then click download.
• Click next on the helper tool kit.
• Enter the password and click Installer Help

• Insert the CD of Setup that came with your printer in the cd drive of your windows computer.
• Click on Run Msetup4.exe on the autoPlay screen and then click yes or continue on the user account control dialog box.
• In case CD does not autorun, go to my computer, then double click the cd rom drive or right click and then click on run.
